1. NO SPOILERS!!!! Not everyone on this board is caught up with the series! If you wish to discuss the Warriors series, please do so in the Warriors Discussion area, and no where else. If I catch someone blabbing spoilers out, that person will be banned.
2. Do not join if your are too busy, or not interested! If you have important things to focus on such as school, working towards a career, etc., then focus on them. Life comes first, always. It is also not fair to us if you join, make a few posts that contribute to the story, then leave.
3. Communicate. If you can't post, or will be gone for a while, etc. please tell me so that I can put you on leave. If something personal is going on that you don't wish to discuss that is fine, all you have to do is let me know that you are going to be unavailable for a while and I'll understand.
4. Do not make your username the same as your character name. It just confuses everyone. For example, if I had a character and username of Blackfur, nobody would be able to tell if someone was talking about me, or my character. Don't do it, please. There's an interruption here for your password as proof you read the rules. Please put the word black in the did you read the rules section of your application.
5. Do not make multiple accounts for multiple characters. It's not necessary. This is not Furcadia. You don't need "alts". All your characters will be archived under your one username. If you feel you really need to hide that badly, just don't join. Remember: the administrator can always see your e-mail, even if it's hidden from everyone else! So just don't make multiple accounts to try and hide, it's pointless.
6. Keep IC (In Character/Roleplay) separate from OOC (Out Of Character/Real Life). No exceptions. If you're mad at someone in real life, don't have your character act mad at them. It's immature, childish, selfish, and creates a poisonous atmosphere that will ultimately affect everyone. Plus, it doesn't make sense to the roleplay.
7. Treat someone the way you want to be treated! If someone starts acting poorly toward you, tell me. Don't take matters into your own hands. You don't have to like each other, but you do have to be polite. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Two wrongs don't make a right.
8. No powerplaying. The definition of powerplaying is someone whose character can never be badly harmed, comes back from the dead, or otherwise exhibits unnatural, unrealistic behaviors. This also includes auto-hits and forced actions. An example of a forced action is, "I bite your shoulder." This is unacceptable. The proper way to post that would be, "I try to bite your shoulder." Another acceptable way to post would be "I bite your shoulder (assumed)." Remember: you do not control another player's character! Remember, this is a Player Consent game. If someone doesn't want their character to die, or even be injured, you can't force it on them; period.
9. No metagaming. The definition of metagaming is using information OOC (Out Of Character/Real Life) for something IC (In Character/Roleplay). For example, if someone tells you in a private message that they want their character to betray yours, your character can not magically know this all of a sudden. You must play the part as though your character was never even suspicious. This rule is especially important in regards to board-wide events.
10. No profanity. Cats do not know words such as 'damn' or 'ass'. And especially, nothing with 'God' or 'Jesus' in it. These are especially foreign words in the world of Warriors.
11. This is a para-RP. That means we post in paragraphs, with a minimum allowance of 100 words per post. If you are new and willing to learn, I will be lax with this and offer to help teach you. If you'd rather do nothing but short posts, you're better off finding another RPG.
12. The Roll Call thread is mandatory weekly reading. I need to know that everyone is ready and able to be active, even if you don't post that week. If something has happened in your life and you need time off, let me know. All members are required to do one of the following every week: a) respond to the thread with your availability, b) send me an Instant Message/Private Message/e-mail with your availability, or c), request a fellow player to let me know your availability. Note that I will be lax in situations where your computer has been badly damaged, or if your internet service is temporarily canceled.
13. If you have multiple characters, keep all of them active. If you're not certain who you need to post for, check the Character Tracking thread (updated weekly). Please post for all of your characters every month. If you join us with fifty characters, post for all of them, not just five. If you have a character that has been inactive for three months, I will no longer allow you to play that character. They will automatically become an NPC. You will have no say in the matter unless you wish to decide that character's immediate fate (such as death, disappearance, capture, etc.).
14. No rape! This does not happen in the wild, and it certainly does not happen in Warriors. Rape is purely a human action.
15. If a character has kits and the Player is giving them away, do not take one unless you are going to play it. And if you get tired of said character, do not kill it off or simply stop playing it. Give it back to the player who originally created it so it can be given to someone else. Or, you can offer said character to become an NPC of the board.
16. This is a mature RPG, not an adult RPG! No random graphic sex allowed whatsoever. If you wish to post a romantic evening for your character, you must be discreet, and it can only be for story purposes, such as a couple wanting to have kits. This is the second interruption that is proof you read the rules. Please place the word leopard in the did you read your rules section of your application.
17. NPCs play a major role. If your character is going to kill something, or a message needs to be delivered but all player characters are busy, use an NPC!
